This is an encaustic painting/collage with the inspiration of peacock feathers and flowers. It is 10 1/2" tall x 5 3/4" wide, nicely framed in recycled fir with mitered edges.
I pack each painting very carefully in bubble wrap and a sturdy box. The wax is solid due to the resin added to the heating process. So you don't have to worry about it melting! Though, I wouldn't recommend keeping it in the back seat of your car on a hot day...
